Chiba Laboratory is located at Tohoku University Institute for Materials Research.
I have been involved in metal additive manufacturing research for many years.
By utilizing 3D printing technology for metal additive manufacturing, we will carry out efficient development and demonstration experiments. In 2023, we will move our affiliation to the Tohoku University Joint Research Center for Future Science and Technology (NICHe) and start a new project.
The ``Project to develop new metal additive manufacturing technology and create new materials and material processing processes based on it'' will further revolutionize metal 3D printers.
